How long do you think it takes to get from Heathrow to San Jose? 32 hours.

9am - Set off from home
11am - Flight
11pm - Arrive (3 hour delay)
12pm - Got through first passport check
3am - Got through second check
I got called aside while I think they checked everything about me - from visa to Year 6 SATS results. USA dont play.
3am - 5am - Checked in for next flight/ate.
5am - 9am - Slept on airport floor.
4.30pm - Flight
7.30pm - Arrive in Costa Rica
